Dr Grant Turner (Osteopath)

Grant is an Osteopath who graduated from RMIT and has been working in Geelong and Ocean Grove the past couple of years.

Grant grew up in Eltham and loved experiencing working away from home, but was ready to come back to the area where he grew up and help as many people in our community as he can.

Grant played a lot of basketball and football growing up, and went through a lot of injuries that kept him on the sidelines. This gave him a real interest in helping people to both recover and also prevent these sporting injuries.

He has loved working with kids as they begin their career and assist
them be moving as best as they can and able to do the things they love, and also spent time with
athletes in senior sport to maintain their body’s as they get towards the end of their career when it can be more difficult to stay healthy.

As well as sporting injuries, Grant have a real interest in life after sport and how we can best manage ourselves to find a balance between life and work, and allow our body’s to be the best version of themselves in order to be able to do this. This includes creating visions and goals with people aboutwhat their ideal picture looks like if they were to choose it, and the steps we can put in place together to get here.

Grant likes to use a mix of gentle and structural techniques, tailoring each treatment to each individual person and how their body responds. This treatment is then worked into a comprehensive management plan including rehabilitation exercises as well as lifestyle tips that can assist you in your journey.

Outside of work Grant loves to spend time outdoors at places like the beach with the people close to me, as well as keeping active by playing basketball or getting to the gym.
