
Katelyn joined the team at Inner Balance Health Clinics after completing her osteopathic studies at RMIT University (Bundoora) in 2007. Throughout her studies Katelyn worked as a first aid responder at many events across Victoria, which further developed her passion for the diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal conditions. She loves the challenge of treating a broad range of conditions and uses a wide variety of osteopathic techniques, tailoring treatment to the individual patient’s needs.
She relates well to people of all ages and is interested in the treatment of headaches, sporting injuries, children’s growth complaints and assisting women through pregnancy.
Originally a country girl from north-east Victoria, Katelyn has enjoyed competing in athletics, swimming, netball, dance and equestrian events for many years. In her spare time Katelyn enjoys swimming and pilates and loves cooking for friends.

Dr Lachlan Goodwin graduated from RMIT University with a Masters degree in Osteopathy and a Bachelor of Applied Science in 2009. Osteopathy is Lachlan’s passion and his Masters thesis involved a clinical trial on the contributing factors which cause low back pain. This has resulted in a sound understanding of acute low back injuries.
Lachlan also has a high interest in sporting injuries, rehabilitation as well as adolescent health although is not limited to only treating these conditions. Amongst his family and friends he is known as ‘Locky’ and has a keen interest in sport, having competed in swimming, basketball, Aussie Rules, boxing and kickboxing. In his younger years he also enjoyed both BMX and motor cross riding. Locky likes to keep fit and enjoys medium distance running, especially with his English Staffordshire Bull Terrier – ‘Teeka’ and weight training at the gym.

Dr Laura Chapman completed her Master of Osteopathy at RMIT University in 2009, researching the effects of the biodynamic model of osteopathy in the cranial field and its effects on the body. Laura graduated as Dux of her year and has a strong passion for further studies, specifically in the fields of paediatric and obstetric osteopathy. Whilst completing her osteopathic studies Laura worked as a remedial massage therapist.
This provided her with an excellent opportunity to treat various sports injuries as well as pursuing the effective treatment of back pain resulting from sustained occupational postures.
Laura’s passion for working with children and experiencing different cultures has seen her trek across the globe, volunteering her time and skills in various orphanages in Africa and Thailand.
Laura has always been a keen competitor and participant in tennis, netball and also enjoys the occasional gym workout.

Dr Rita Spina graduated the osteopathic course from Victoria University in 2001 as well as qualifying as Clinical Pilates instructor through Dance Medicine Australia. Rita has combined her skills as an osteopath and pilates instructor to work in various practices in Melbourne and abroad in New Zealand.
Rita has also undertaken post graduate training in Cranial Osteopathy and paediatrics and has utilities these skills whilst volunteering in Cambodia and Northern Thailand to treat children in orphanages and ‘dump slums’. Rita has recently been appointed Clinical Supervisor at RMIT’s Paediatric Clinic and particularly enjoys treating babies and children of all ages.

Dr Dianne Milas graduated from her osteopathic course at RMIT 1993. Since then Dianne has undertaken many post graduate studies in areas including Osteopathy in the cranial field. Dianne has recently joined the team at Inner Balance Health Clinics, but has previously worked in other clinics around Melbourne.
Dianne enjoys treating a variety of different patients with musculoskeletal problems and treats children of all ages. In her spare time, Dianne has three beautiful sons that keep her out of mischief.
Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners

Dr Elisa Yip is a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine / Acupuncturist. Elisa graduated from RMIT in 2006 and has an insatiable thirst for learning. Elisa likes keeping her brain cells dancing by reading in Chinese and English, and her body alive through Martial Arts.
She does like to balance her frenetic, nerdy energy with quiet moments of nature walks, Chinese ink brush calligraphy, and hopes to one day soon learn to play the beautiful Guzheng (stringed Chinese instrument).

Dr Mirjana Laskovski graduated from RMIT University in 2009 as Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine / Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbal Medicine. She completed and undertook an internship at the Jiang Su Province Hospital in Nanjing ,China working in various health departments.
Since her return and working at IBHC, Mirjana has developed a keen interest all health matters related specifically to women including fertility and pregnancy related issues. Mirjana is also comfortable treating psycho-emotional disorders in both men and women. In her spare time Mirjana enjoys playing guitar, practicing yoga and spending time in nature.
Remedial Massage

Allan Burton graduated Remedial Massage in 2005 and a Certificate in Fitness in 2006 from the Melbourne Institute of Massage Therapy.
Allan has over 25 years experience working in sports medicine and massage with a number of local football clubs in the northern suburbs. Allan has also undertaken a number of personal development courses focusing on Mind, Body & Spirit. Allan enjoys spending time with his family and friends and his beloved dog ‘Bella’.
Naturopathy & Serenity Vibration Healing (SVH)

Kimberley Nightingale is a Naturopath and Nutritionist accredited through the Australian Natural Therapists Association (ANTA). She graduated from the Endeavour College of Natural Health and pursued further studies in SVH to complement her clinical practice.
After working out of multiple naturopathic clinics in Melbourne, Kimberley has recently joined the team at Inner Balance Health. She has clinical experience in a diverse range of areas, providing an individually tailored approach for holistic treatment and care.
Passionate about health and natural medicine, Kimberley is continually striving to expand her knowledge and believes strongly in the integration of other modalities, working side by side to maximise health solutions for individuals.

Reception Staff

Megan has recently returned to the workforce after taking a few years off to start a family.
She previously worked as a Personal Assistant, and is now enjoying the reception role at Inner Balance, where she loves meeting and chatting with everyone who walks in.

Before working at Inner Balance Health Clinics, Nyyky had previously worked for a large national company. She has worked at the clinic for several years now and has a wonderful report with many patients.
Nykky loves working at Inner Balance as she loves working with people and with her English accent, you’ll know when you’re speaking to her. She enjoys helping make patients visits to the clinic as comfortable as she possibly can.
She enjoys her time with her two children, who keep her very busy, Nyyky hopes to pursue a career in the health field herself.

Inner Balance Health Clinics also offers Osteopathic students to work at the clinic. This is not only a wonderful opportunity for the students to observe how a clinic runs, but for patients to meet the future of the clinic and Osteopathy.
